Νέα Διεθνής συνεργασία του Θεάτρου HELIX και του International Street Theatre Festival (Ελλάδα) με τη Σερβία, Κροατία, Κόσοβο, Αλβανία και Πορτογαλία Circus as a way of life Partner responsibilities 1.TZV, Croatia - As festival organizer and project coorganiser, TZGV will be responsible for animation of the children from Croatia and gathering them to come to workshops, project management, project administration, fund raising, content selection and management, on site organization, promotion and public relations. The contents of this project will be an upgrade for the Festival Sapncirfest they are organizing. 2. Art Kontakt will be in charge of animation of the children from Albania and gathering them to come to workshops, overall coordination and caring out of the activities in Albania, support to local stake holders in Albania to take active role in all phases and activities of the project, in coordination with other partners work actively on implementing strategies and ideas of “,CIRCUS AS A WAY OF LIFE“ creating positive changes (including legislative) in topics related to the project objectives. Assisting in creation of narrative and financial reports, monitoring and processes of evaluation of project and its activities. 3. Ghetto will animate the children from Kosovo and gather them to come to workshops in Novi Sad in August/September 2013 March/April 2014. Group of children will also be sent to Summer circus camps in Novi Sad in July 2014. Ghetto members will also be present in all the meetings organized during the project (both physical ones and on Skype). 4. Helix will be sending two workshop leaders for the meeting in Novi Sad (August 2013), then in March/April 2014 for 10 days in Varazdin, Croatia and 10 days in Novi Sad, Serbia. So, in total 20 days for 2 persons in March/April. Then again we will send 2 persons for 10 days in Novi Sad for Summer camp (July 2014). Also, the work created as a product of this whole project will be presented (20 youngsters + 2 ppl from France + maybe somebody else) on INTERNATIONAL STREET THEATRE FESTIVAL ISTFEST organized by HELIX (October 2014). They will also be present in all the meetings organized during the project (both physical ones and on Skype). 5.Capillotractee Cie will teach the students or attendees Circus Arts (Acrobatics, Juggling, Stilts , Trapeze, etc) and Stage (Dance, Acting). The Company will design and build with those students scenery and show machineries. At the end of each workshop and still with full participation of the students, a show will be elaborated and presented to the Audience. Capillotractee will be sending two workshop leaders for the meeting in Novi Sad (August 2013), then they will be engaged from August to October in leading the 10 days workshops in Croatia, Serbia, again in Serbia, but for kids from Kosovo and in Albania, then again in March/April 2014 for 10 days in Varazdin, Croatia and 10 days in Novi Sad, Serbia. Then again they will send 2 persons for 10 days in Novi Sad for Summer camp (July 2014). Also, the work created as a product of this whole project will be presented on festivals in Croatia, Serbia and Greece and they will be following and performing with a group. 6. Kreativni pogon, Srbija,- They are NGO professionalized in new circus and inclusion and have years of experience in working with street children. INBOX have already collaborated with them in many occasions, during the festival of Street Musicians in Novi Sad. Considering that they have already established contacts with street children it will help us a lot in animating them to join the workshops. They will be the ones who will create and perform charity performances in order to animate those children. What (activity) Who When (from…to…) Where Activity 1 – pre-production/ preparation: 1.1. preparatory meeting with partners: for the organizers of the project, circus teachers, and educator who will work with children and young people during the process will be the best setting of the project. Through several lectures and open discussions the meeting will focus on methodology of the project, it’s development and desired outcomes 1.2. Animating the children to join workshops and charity performances: led by local organizations with the aim to animate possible participants for the workshops. They will be conducted at orphanages, correctional facilities, social institutions, suburbs, etc. It will be just part in animating activities that will last for several months in order to secure enough number of street children to apply for workshops. 1.3. preparing communication material (flyers, website, etc) Activity 2 – production 2.1. Workshops: led by professionals in contemporary circus and street theatre from Western Europe: trainings on acrobatics, juggling, dance, pantomime and acting classes will be organized for local young people in each of the partner countries. Ten days workshop will take place in gym halls or outside. Presentation of this workshops will be public and part of festivals of partner organizations, where possible. 2.1.1 Workshops in Croatia 2.1.2. Workshops in Serbia 2.1.3. Workshops in Serbia for Kosovo kids 2.1.4. Workshops in Albania 2.2.Workshops: led by professionals in contemporary circus and street theatre from Western Europe: trainings on pyrotechnic, scenery and stage management, creative thinking and career know-how will be organized for local young people from partner countries. Ten days workshop will take place in gym halls or outside with the final presentation at the end of this process. 2.2.1. Workshops with Croatian and Albanian group 2.2.2. Workshops with Serbian and Kosovar* group 2.3.Summer circus camps: 20 best workshop participants from Serbia, Croatia, Kosovo and Albania will go together to a summer camp with the aim of staging a new circus show where every young artist will have his or her own part. Taking on and training this group of young people with a view to make a professional performing group will be a great challenge for teachers and trainers. During the summer camp the group will create a circus show that will embrace acrobatics, juggling, pantomime, modern dance and pyrotechnics 2.4. Participation in international exchanges, circus and theatre festivals through Europe. The group will perform at several festival during the project (Spancirfest in Croatia (August 2014), The Street Musician Festival in Serbia (September 2014), International Street theatre festival in Greece (October 2014). After the completion of the project we will continue to work with this group and they will also probably perform on Festival Imaginarius, Portugal; Neofest, Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina; Veregra Street Festival in Montegranaro, Italy; La Strada International Street Circus Festival from Germany; Festival "Namur en Mai" in Belgium, Ratataplan Int. Festival, Lessona (I); Artistiinpiazza, Int. Festival Pennabilli (I); Ferrara Buskers Festival, Ferrara (I); Mercantia Int. Festival, Certaldo Activity 3 – evaluation
