Търсим двама доброволци по финансиран краткосрочен екологичен проект в Мерсин/ Турция за периода от 22.09.2013 до 21.11.2013 Този проект е невероятен и на всеки два месеца изпращаме по двама доброволци. Role and Tasks of the volunteer(s): The volunteer will be placed in the primary structure of Third Eye Association of Mediterranean (TEAM) and partner associations. She/He will participate in training courses, projects, camps, debates, cultural events and civic education. The objectives of the activity are: -to reduces discrimination and raise voluntarism awareness in local community by performing a multinational project with environment -to give a framework for personal development and intercultural learning-by working and living within a team of different EVS volunteers -to give to the volunteer a chance of initiative, creativity, and taking responsibilities in a multinational team -to offer an alternative way of life and non-formal education ("place of reflection, action and experimentation") -to experiment a large scale of “concrete " activities in the field of our manual and social project to stimulate self-confidence, autonomy and give a chance for new positive experiences. -to raise European awareness and active citizenship by putting solidarity in concrete actions -to learn to live together with other volunteers in the same apartment, with respect and tolerance towards the others and responsibility and autonomy for the common duties (cleaning, cooking etc.) -to get new personal skills (art, language, organisation etc…) The volunteer will participate in projects and activities like going outside with the students and volunteers, assist the organization on various festivals and activities, participate in national festivals, presenting the organization, and the culture. Weekly Plan The Programe Monday: Morning (09:00-12:00):Meeting and preparing creative workshops for youth information, Afternoon (15:30- 18:00): Cleaning the costs of Mersin Where the Turtles leave their eggs. Tuesday: Morning (09:00-12:00): Preparing the media or performances. Afternoon (17:00- 19:00): Turkish Language Course Wednesday: Morning (09:00-12:00): Cleaning The Kazanlı Coast Where the turtles lay their eggs Afternoon (16:00- 19:00): Trekking with the local people in natural environment and protecting the turtles. Thursday: Morning (09:00-12:00): Preparations, meeting with local people to create social knowledge about pollution. Afternoon (15:30- 17:30): Turkish Language Course Friday: Morning (09:00-12:00): Cooperation with the local municipalities and taking care of environment with local community Afternoon (16:00- 19:00: Cleaning The Kazanlı Coast Where the turtles lay their eggs (19:30-20:30): Evaluation Meeting Because of the summer season and according to hot weather conditions We can start the activities earlier in the day.And Because of the hatchling period (May-September) We will have a walk along the beach at nights to protect the turtles from the predators. (Transportation of the volunteers will be provided by us by local buses or buses which will be provided from municipalities.) Saturday:Optional courses like -dance-sport or free day Sunday:Free The volunteers will be active in the project for 35h per week (language lessons are the part of it. Arrival and departure days do not make the part of volunteering time. The volunteering schedule may also vary with time – some periods will be more busy, and some will be much more flexible. The planning of the activities the volunteer has to build up together with the host organization. Food, accommodation Host organization will provide food and simple accommodation for the volunteer. The volunteer will be accommodated in a flat. The volunteer will share the common space and the bedroom. The flat is situated near the project area and has 2 double bedrooms, kitchen, living room and all other facilities. There is internet ,fridge, kettle, oven in the flat. No Pet Animals allowed in the flats and surroundings, Your European visitors cannot stay more than 2(two) nights in our flats, they should find a hotel after 2nd night. You can’t bring your Turkish friends to our flats for accommodating. Transportation (Means of transportation): %90 percent of the travel coast reimbursed by the Coordinator Organisation and train, bus,and plane should be used.Volunteers have to keep the boarding pass, or others docement related about travels and responsible to give them to cordinating organization. In case of finishing the project before estimated time without any official reason (death, illness …etc) Volunteer has to pay all transportation coast or cancelation fee. As the flat is situated next to the activity area there is no need to use transportation.For the mobility of the project TEAM will arrange the transportation. Language Course The language learning is an important thing in the frame of the EVS. TEAM org. will arrange the language learning opportunities“. We provide 2 times per week a language lesson training for total 4 hours and is for all the volunteers of the coordination. This training is not compulsory, just the volunteer needs to tell if he/she cannot participate in several sessions or do not wish to take the advantage of the trainings. There will be no courses for all levels, neither different schedules of the training. But surely the success of language learning will depend first of all on the volunteer’s motivation. Expected learning outcomes European Volunteer Service is based on the principals of non-formal education. This gives learning opportunities outside schools, universities, and other similar institutions. Without doubts, the volunteer will learn a lot during your project, and sometimes about the things he/she could not even expect from the beginning. In order to make the volunteer’s learning as efficient as possible, he/she has to take the responsibility for it, and to put clear aims, about what he/she wishes to learn, and how to achieve it. The volunteers will be supported in the following and evaluating their learning process that will result in a recognized at European level certificate Youthpass. We deeply wish to let this EVS place open for young people with a strong motivation to be a volunteer, and to continue after their EVS projects to be volunteers in their life and hopefully keep in touch with our organization. СПОРЕД ОБЩИТЕ ПРАВИЛА НА ПРОГРАМАТА "МЛАДЕЖТА В ДЕЙСТВИЕ, ДЕЙНОСТ 2 ЕВРОПЕЙСКА ДОБРОВОЛЧЕСКА СЛУЖБА": Всички разходи на доброволеца по време на упражняване на доброволческата служба в определената държава / път, храна, застраховка, обучение по съответния език на държавата, вътрешен транспорт, джобни пари/ се ПОЕМАТ 100% от проекта и доброволеца нищо не плаща, с изключение на 10% от пътните разходи. 90% също се поемат по проекта!
