Սեդրակ Մկրտչյան spent years and thousands of dollars building a loyal following for his eMedia-dot-am news web site Facebook page. As it was recommended he bought Facebook ads to attract more fans. Then, as you probably remember, Facebook started to downgrade page post visibility and thus forced page owners to buy more ads so their fans could see the page posts in their newsfeeds (it is called post boosting). Today Sedraks team wakes up to see eMedia-dot-ams Facebook page gone. No explanation, no warnings from Facebook team, nothing. The lesson learnt: dont spend a dime on Facebook, since it is run by greedy, totally irresponsible and lawless assholes. Try to develop following on as many diverse platforms as possible (though no warranties with others either), also use weekly e-mail newsletters. Screw Facebook.
