دعوة لفهم تصرفات الذئاب والثعالب .... تمثيلية آشتون والاتحاد الأوروبي ـــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــ كاثرين آشتون متحدثة إلي مجلس العلاقات الخارجية يوم ١٨ نوڤبر ٢٠١٣: بخصوص مصر، اسمحوا لي في البداية إدانة العنف والقتل في الأيام الأخيرة. ثانيا، لقد شهدنا بعض التطورات المثيرة للاهتمام في البلاد. - شهدنا تغير حالة الطوارئ. - رأينا بالطبع بدء المحاكمات - وشهدنا ربما شكل ما من أشكال المصالحة. وأنا على أمل في لقاء نائب رئيس الوزراء في وقت قريب جدا. وسيكون لدينا الفرصة للحديث معه حول أكثر ما يمكننا القيام به لدعم ذلك. أرسلت بعثة إلى القاهرة وقد عادت للتو، وأنا أتطلع اليوم إلى اللحاق بهم. ولكن سنستمر في البقاء على مقربة جدا لمصر، ومحاولة دعم شعب مصر من خلال هذا العبور في أوقات صعبة للغاية. On Egypt, let me first condemn the violence and killings in the last days. Secondly, we have seen some interesting developments in the country. We have seen the state of emergency changing. We have seen of course trials beginning and we have seen the potential perhaps for some form of reconciliation. I am hoping to receive the Deputy Prime Minister very soon. And we will have the chance to talk with him about what more we can do to support that. A mission I sent to Cairo has just returned so I am looking forward today to catching up with them.
