رسالتي الى رئيس الولايات المتحدة الامريكية A message to the USA president: Barack Hussein Obama, Peace be upon you Mr. President, wishing for the USA prosperity and welfare. I will talk with you personally, as a gift from your fellow human being; not an attack to your Excellency. Having heard your election’s Fourth debate on Foreign policy with the Republican candidate, Mitt Romney. I was so eager to know more about your vision in bringing peace to my country. Palestine. Mr. President: you know more than I know that injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere as Martin Luther king said. You know about the deep racism in South Africa, and about the legacy of Nelson Mandela who also said: they will be no justice in the world with the Justice of the Palestinian people”. Imagine that we Palestinian will get 17% percent of our historical Palestine in the ailing and frequent failure of the negotiation which is based on dispute settlements for a short-lived span of time not on transformation of the conflict and without addressing the social justice and historical justice of the Palestinian people in 1948. Mr. President: I was so happy you became the President of the United States, but sorry to say I was shocked with the first challenge came in the difficult road of addressing the Israeli occupation of Palestine. I deeply understand the process of the decision making in the USA and the influence of the congress and the executive branch in shaping the administration roadmap. Remember that I deeply believe you want to do something, but you have a lot of challenges that can negatively affect you. All the human rights movements in USA will support you in addressing the Palestinian justice issue under the resolutions of the international community. Mr. President: it does not make any sense that Israel is above the international law; that Israel wants to be a democratic and Jewish state. You been a community organizer in Chicago and you know firsthand the struggle of the human being to get their freedom. I am writing for you not a kind of begging, but for you to witness and make a historic shaping of the view towards the Israeli occupation based on human rights, historical justice, social justice, putting all the Israeli perpetrators in the higher international courts to hold accountable for their crimes and for us, as Palestinians that the USA is really advocating for the human rights overseas.. Thank you, Mr. President. Ayman Nijim
