يا مصري اعرف قيمة بلدك وابني وابنك فيها فلازم نبنيها: steps to calculate PV standalone solar power system: 1) the main components are: solar panels, battery, inverters and interconnecting cables. 2) make an electric survey of your loads and estimate the energization period of each load per day: the starting point is calculating your loads per day. for each load that will be connected to the PV solar system, multiply the power consumption of the load by the number of hours the load will be energized per day. 2) power sizing optimization: review your loads and the duration of energization per load, refine your estimates and if you have an alternate supply you may move the non-essentiql loads and the huge chunks of loads to the alternate source to reduce PV systdm cost. 3) sizing the batteries: factors affecting vattery performance are ambient temperature, depth of discharge (deep-cycle vs. shallow one), rated batrery capacity and number of cloudy days (days of autonony). when you size your battery, you start with the daily load AH calculated in (2) above and then you multiply by factors, they should include for number of dats of autonomy, depth of discharge, ambient temperarure. then with this number and the battery you have chosen, rated voltage and AH, you can decide on rhe nunbwr of batteries to be connected in parallel and those in series. 3) sizing the PV solar panels: knowing your daily watt-hour or amp hour and knowing the number of sun-hours of your area, you can obtain the total power or amperage required from your solar panel. dividing the latter by the rating of the module you have selected you would obtain the required total number of panels.
