उद्यमेन हि सिध्यन्ति कार्यणि न मनोरथै: | न हि सुप्तस्य सिंहस्य प्रविशन्ति मुखे मॄगा: || कोई भी कार्य मात्र कल्पना करनेसे पूर्ण नहीं होता जैसे सुप्त सिंहके मुखमें मृग स्वतः नहीं पहुंचता है | इस उदाहरणसे स्पष्ट होता है कि मात्र सोचनेसे और क्षमता होनेसे कोई भी कार्य सिद्ध नहीं होता, कार्यसिद्धि हेतु अथक प्रयास और लगनकी आवश्यकता होती है | Any work will not get accomplished just merely by desiring for it’s completion. A ‘prey’ by itself doesn’t enter in to the sleeping lion’s mouth!!! By giving the example of a lion the writer here wants to emphasize that the desire and capabilities should be added by the efforts and hard work to achieve the goal ! -TANUJA THAKUR
