Sperra aced her Behavior Evaluation earning the coveted average rating - but this lady is FAR from average! A volunteer writes: Hugs and kisses anyone? Then come meet Sperra, whose endearing hugs and kisses feel like a warm, gentle summer rain, once she gets to know you. Initially reserved, it doesnt take Sperra much time before were friends, especially when enticed with treats! In the backyard, Sperra even makes friends with the tennis balls offered to her, dancing with them in utter delight and hanging on to one at times, perhaps as a source of comfort. In the park, she seems even more of the athlete, seemingly eager for the opportunity to run, but then content with a fast paced walk. While Sperras past is a mystery, her lovely grooming and reserved demeanor suggest she was a well-cared for family pet. In addition, she takes care of business once outside, and sits promptly for treats. Sperra now needs a new family who can give her the love and patience in rebuilding her confidence.
