A “very happy, good dog” is how Mundo’s person describes him. We are told he never lived with dogs or cats but is friendly to dogs and perhaps a bit testy with cats. He’s house and paper trained and friendly towards strangers and towards children. Medically, he was in decent health though he’s got eight year old eyes and teeth. Of course, he caught the “shelter cold” already! When it came time for his behavioral eval, Mundo was so scared that he trembled throughout the exam. But he did well: showed no resource guarding or dog on dog issues. But all that’s gotten him is a fast track to tomorrow’s euthanasia list. So tonight, Mundo is looking for someone who is ready for a loving, grown up dog who won’t put you through all the puppy kinds of things. This dog knows how to be a family dog; do you have a family he can join? He’s a big guy at 59 pounds, so young children would likely not be great but he’s healthy and active and ready to go on long walks, play in the dog park or yard and just sit at your feet being the best friend you’ll ever have.
