- To you sniveling ninnies who keep saying that Black Friday is a problem because it takes away from family time, Fist of all, I hope you realize that its not going to go away; in fact, its evolving and spreading over several days, which youd realize is a good thing if you were actually paying attention. Secondly, if you were given free Packers tickets for a day that Hallmark says youre supposed to be with your families, easily half of you would go. Actually, hah, if American Idol had auditions in your town on Christmas f---ing morning, half of you would go. Sorry, aunts and uncles from out-of-state; sorry, dying grandma. My sliver of a chance of becoming the next Clay f---ing Aiken is whats clearly important, here. So very many of you BF haters would go to these things, and youd justify it...even though your families dont gain from you going to a game or a talent show the way families, friends, people in general gain from the affordable goods bought on Black Friday. Oh, and thats another thing... To you, little Billy Super-Smart American, endlessly spouting online about how all goods acquired on Black Friday are cheap plastic Chinese crap, - just keep waiting; I think its your 10th year when they give you a crown for being in junior high for so long. While you wait, try reading one of your textbooks instead of building forts out of them. In closing, stop pissing on the parade of people who dont have a lot else besides Black Friday to look forward to right now, and of people who arent family-oriented. And if youre going to pick and choose which fanatically-driven social phenomena to righteously speak for or against, try backing your sentiments with sound reasoning, and maybe even a little bit of character, instead of just blindly sharing these narrow-minded If you do Black Friday, youre part of the problem infographs. Please do that favor for me, and Ill keep my eyes peeled for spines on Friday morning for you.
