This song is one that I learned in childhood and always sang with shimá dóó shizhéé. Woke up last night to check on my dad a few times and realized he had gone back home to shimá. I felt an emptiness, uncomfortable silence, and longing for my parents late last night like how a child would feel the absence of their parents. This song came upon my heart and I was able to sleep. I am always praying for my parents. I love them dearly. Pray & love upon your loved ones no matter the distance. Diyin God nił hólǫ́ǫdoo. ♡ ~
