Bettina (pictured left, MDS HR Manager) stoaked at Germanys win against Portugal this morning.. although mentioned Dexter the Bunny may have picked Germany due to larger spinach leaf. Noted.. I am German and there is no question that I will cheer for the German team. I have been interested in football for a long time already. I come from the Southern part of Germany and my favourite club has always been VfB Stuttgart. That’s the club Marco Rojas, the All White player, is currently playing for. Why do I like watching football? Because it is an interesting game. You can see strategic moves as well as powerful moves. It is never really boring. It’s a fast game and you never know what’s going to happen. Even defenders can be goal scorers! Great players: Franz Beckenbauer (not active anymore), Gerd Mueller (not active anymore), Lothar Matthaeus (not active anymore), Oliver Kahn (not active anymore), Michael Ballack (not active anymore), Lukas Podolski. The top scorer is currently Miroslav Klose (69 scores for Germany). He and Lukas Podolski will be playing tomorrow against Portugal (with Cristiano Ronaldo!). Germany will also play against USA. This will be quite an interesting game as the team’s coach is Juergen Klinsmann who played for Germany many times and was even the German national team coach between 2004 and 2006. By the way, Germany has also a very good women’s national football team. They won the World Championships in 2003 and 2007. - Bettina
