Sure, its a silly name for such a pretty young boy but Chop doesnt care and he wears it as he does all his finer attributes, with a proud stance and a cheeky grin. Its impossible to miss this luminous beauty, his pristine coat practically glows in the dim light of his den and as soon as he realizes Ive come to take him for a walk that sweet face is smooshed up to the door in keen anticipation. Chops snow white body goes into blizzard mode as he runs to the back door in his eagerness to get outside and once off-leash I need to stand back because this happy chappy gets a serious case of the zoomies! Chop runs ecstatically round the pen and as soon as I throw a ball he plays with it like hes been waiting his whole life for this very moment. I do believe he could literally entertain himself for hours; kicking the ball, picking it up and dropping it, chasing after my throws and generally having a grand old time. Chop does appear to be house trained and takes care of all his business while were outside but I dont think hes been given any consistent obedience training. His future parents dont need to worry though because hes very food motivated and eager to please, taking treats incredibly softly from my hand and checking up as we walk by occasionally turning back to look at me. He comes when called and I get the sense Chop would do just about anything you ask for a treat and some praise for being a good boy. His only issue at the moment is some hand-shyness. Although he does like to be caressed Chop needs a slow and gentle approach and I take his lead when it comes to petting, sometimes he wants to be touched and sometimes he doesnt, no big deal.
