-your mother insists that “promaha” will kill you, and all of your windows are closed even if its the middle of summer. -Bosnians are the only race that suffer from promaha -your mother tells you not to sit on the concrete slabs, or your ovaries are going to freeze -your mother tells you not to sit close to the TV, and not to use cell phones, because you’ll get brain tumor -a couple of days really means a week or so -your parents make “zimnica” every september -you drive there in a family “golf” (small as a yugo) -you begin most sentences with “jebi ga”, “svega mi”, or “Tita mi” -you can’t explain what “bolan” means, but you use it all the time -your mother bakes a cake without oil, sugar, eggs, or flour, and she calls it ratna torta” -the time is divided into prije and poslje the war -your father refers to all politicians with djubrad, lopovi, and kriminalci -you start and end every day with a cup of coffe and probably a cigarette -all jokes are about blondes, or Mujo and Suljo -older people call you sine although you are a girl -your neighbour comes over every day uninvited, for coffee -you call a bruise a šljiva -a common insult is mama ti se kupa gola -no matter how old you are, you always wave to a plane or a helicopter -you have a plastic bag full of plastic bags -you put potatoes in your socks to cure a fever -you say čuje se to a scent -when someone gets hit in the head, we say Ma hajd, bosanska je! -you dont say mint tea, you say caj od nane -you eat pita 4 days a week -you eat sarma the other 3 days -when someone comes back from Germany, they bring TONS of candy -when you swallow chewing gum, your parent say Zaljepit ce ti se za crijeva -when someones zip is open, you say Otvorena ti radnja -when youre little and you dont know where your mom is, grown ups would say Nema je, udala se! -when you accidently collide heads with someone, you have to collied again so your mom doesnt die -when something is too far or in the middle of nowhere, we say its Bogu iza nogu -when we dont care for someone, we say Ko te šiša?! -when someone is staring, you say Bulji ko tele u šarena vrata Razumjemo l se ? ⋆ BosnianDirectioner ⋆
