0.99 on Amazon! Wow, what a wonderful book for discovering how marriage & life in general can be lived. A couple and individuals would be very wise to read this book. Read it together before getting married, after marriage and for sure after being attacked by the god of this world. Jesse & Kara share strategies, tools and the authority God has given us to overcome bondage. I also liked that they gave their own perspective on a given situation because men and women do perceive and are affected differently by the same situation. Overcoming infidelity in marriage maybe one of the most difficult wounds to heal from, but it is still only one of the countless ways husbands and wives can hurt each other. As a couple who will celebrate 40 years of marriage this year, my Bride and I have gone through many struggles and attaches. Overcoming these was more difficult before we placed God at the center of our marriage and used the things that Jesse & Kara have put to paper. Through the years God has also taught us that Love is a decision, Feelings are neither good nor bad they are just feelings and each of us have a right to our feelings. Lastly we learned a simple form of communication that works for us; if one of us says something that upset the other, the one upset says “when you say that or when you say that like that” “it makes me feel…”. We can then discuss the “feeling” and (I for the most part) can learn a better way to say something that doesn’t degrade or upset the other.
