03-12-2013: by the armour of righteousness on the right hand and on the left (2 Corinthians 6:7) The phrase on the right hand carries a feminine connotation in the greek rendering, while the phrase on the left carries a male connotation! Therefore, righteousness is an armor for both the male and female! Under the law, the discharge from both the man and the woman was unclean, making them sinners: a sin and burnt offerings were sacrificed at the end of their discharge to make them holy or clean again. It was so filthy as in the law that Isaiah referred to the self-righteousness of the people as a filthy menstrual cloth! What could follow always was a sense of guilt and condemnation! (Lev 15, Isaiah 64:6) An armor is a protective covering to shield one from damaging forces. The armor here is righteousness by faith, and the damaging forces are guilt and condemnation (tools of the enemy) We still preach that people are unclean during discharges but that is ignorance! Bible says we are new creations, old things are gone and all things are new now (2 Cor 5:17): this means that, the discharges we have now are new and pure, pleasing unto God! For we are to God the aroma of Christ (2 Cor 2:15) Everything about you now is a sweet fragrance unto God. Anything natural in you is acceptable as a sweet fragrance unto God. Therefore, you have righteousness as an armor to shield you from all condemnation from the enemy and men concerning your discharges, and also against all guilty thoughts. Why? ...to cleanse our conscience from dead works to serve the living God (Heb 9:14) Nothing is unclean in you, because they are all from God: Christ in you is the hope of all glory! Cast down any thoughts of guilt and condemn any tongue that rises against you in judgement in the authority of your righteousness! Your discharge is holy! Your are righteous!
