08/21/14 (0739) Short-Term Winners Do not fret because of evil men or be envious of those who do wrong; for like the grass they will soon wither, like green plants they will soon die away. Psalm 37:1-2 Does it sometimes seem as if the bad guys are winning? When you look around at the condition of our world and see wars, poverty, abused children, the rich getting richer while the poor get poorer, prejudice, oppression . . . and on and on, do you wonder where God is? This verse reminds us to keep trusting in God, because the bad guys will get their due one day and God will prevail! Put your trust in God, because what He has to offer - the hope of heaven - is the only thing thats going to stick around.
