1/6 scale HALO day today. Shapeway package with ODST armour parts (2 pairs of Knees, 2 pairs of hip armour, shoulder armour) and Spartan Laser. Also forgot to say ODST helmet casts. These will be converted to 2x Marine and 2x Pilot helmets and 1 of each being returned to sender to cast. Makes sense Marine, Pilot and ODST have a same base design I think. Also means my 3rd original McFarlane O.D.S.T. helmet can stay with its display base and Not be dremelled out lol Shape to mod the helmet casts as they are pretty solid crisp casts. So tried the new armour parts for ODST on the first figure I am building. Now to replace my custom knee armour with shapeway ones. Also the Spartan Laser...just WOW! Test fit with Marine and looks awesome and even Carter looks good with the Spartan Laser. My only gripe is its VERY light due to being hollow. However that is good for the figures plus as its hollow, can fit earth magnets so the weapon can secure to metal. HALO Day indeed. Peter Doherty
