1. Aim & Objectives of the Organization: The Aims and Objectives are summed up in the logo of the College itself. The Logo consists of five significant symbols viz. a stem of corn, an enkindled lamp, an open book, disc transmission and a flying Dove. The stem of corn on the extreme left side stands for agricultural development through popularization of Education. The open Book in the middle marks the dissemination of knowledge and wisdom. The enkindled lamp connotes that the darkness of ignorance can be dispelled through the light of knowledge. The Disc transmission tower at the extreme right side reveals the insatiable spirit of enquiry and scientific research . last but important is the Dove at the top of the logo which stands for peace in the perennial flow of life in the Universe. Activities Reflecting Goals and Objective of the Institution: In order to achieve the above aims & objectives the following activities have been undertaken. i) The Students in the Science stream are given impetus to go ahead in future to pursue agriculture with modern improved technology. ii) To disseminate knowledge & wisdom all out efforts are undertaken to organize Seminars, Quizzes, Publication of Wall Magazine etc. in addition to focus it in the general classes. iii) Naturally as it would have been, dogmas, superstition, emerge out of ignorance. To dispel ignorance attempts are made to widen the scope of learning beyond the curriculum. iv) To promote scientific aptitude & queries among science students ,science society has been formed which looks after the actual needs & caters to them through organizing Seminars, Competition etc. v) To help students love & respect peace & amity & spread the message of fraternal relationship far & wide, regular orientation is given to the students by organizing value-based classes. 2. Mission Statement of the College: i) To meet the need of manpower development for various factors of economy through the system of value-based quality education upto graduation stage. ii) To promote the fervent appreciation of scientific thinking over dogmatism and contemplation. iii) To restore and maintain cultural heritage and to ward off factors of diversity. iv) To promote patriotism, sportsmanship and leadership. v) To develop allround personality and create responsible citizens. vi) To arise, awaken and illuminate the hidden potentialities of students. vii) And shaping the institution to the changing needs of time and help promote a learner-friendly environment to optimize students full potentiality.
