1:Hi everyone! My name is Taco Supreme. Im a 8 yr old Chihuahua with a whole lot of life still left in me.Our average life span is from 15 to 20 years so I am still very much in my prime. I was surrendered by my previous owner due to pressure from neighbours complaining about my barking when left home alone. Since I have been rescued by Sophie and fostered by a dog trainer ( 2 actually, back to back), my life has been pretty great. My issues were not that bad at all obviously since now that I have a balanced place to stay, a routine and some rules in place....I am doing great. Just what every dog needs really. I do not bark when left home alone and have no issues sleeping in my crate. In fact....I love my crate. The only time I bark is if someone rings the door or buzzer. I stop the minute you tell me to be quiet. I get along well with other dogs with a proper intro. I live with several and fit right in. I showed no interest in the baby where I was previously being fostered and we already know I do well with cats. I have lost all my extra weight and had several teeth removed due to neglect from my previous human, I am now a happy go lucky healthy pooch and can eat my kibble just fine. I was once deemed somebodys little baby and got spoiled much to my detriment.. I am NOT a baby however. I am a dog with dog needs. Im house-trained, crate-trained and very friendly. If you are looking for a sweet and loving companion and will not spoil me rotten or ignore my needs as a dog then you are exactly the kind of person I am looking for. I finally found balance. I intend on keeping it. 2:Heeeeeeres Schnitzel! Hes a terrific pooch. Very loving, sweet and wonderful with other dogs. He has quite the obsession with cats however so were looking for a cat-free home for this sweetie. Hes 5 yrs old and in terrific shape. Hes friendly with strangers once you let him come sniff you. He doesnt react well if you charge at him like some folks tends to do when they see a cute dog and get all up in their face. Hell be your best friend within minutes however if you introduce yourself properly. True to his breed however, he can become manipulative and possessive so a person with good experience and knowledge regarding Dachshunds is a must. Hes house-trained, can get around really well even with those short legs of his (stairs are not a problem). He loves to go for walks, loves to run next to you and is highly scent motivated with that great nose of his so hiding treats for him to find is a fun and stimulating exercise for you to play with him. Schnitzel is not recommended for kids under 12 yrs old. Hes been staying with a Dachshund expert for a few months now and has become a favourite of his because he is so sweet, bright and loving. I am Doogie AKA Dobie and I am here to steal your heart and win over your entire family. I very like to be part of my family’s life and give them lots of kisses and cuddles and show them what a real love bug is. This includes informing the family when guests arrive and sometimes getting overly excited to meet them. I am working on understanding that not everyone has my energy level Im definitely more at ease with a confident and respectful leader. Im obedient and very eager to please. I love to go for care rides, lots of walks to help tire me out, and play with other dogs. I have tried to play with cats, however we really don’t understand each other, so I think it is best that we live separately. Someone who is retired but still quite active or works from home would be ideal for me. If youre familiar with my breed, you know how smart we are and what we were bred for “hunting”. Im not a big fan of being left home alone. I will sometimes cry and bark, but I know that you will be patient and help me to understand that you are not leaving me forever.
