1. Ive been heart-broken at sad and unfortunate events in my life. Ive had days where I feel quiet and not very talkative but as a general rule, Im NEVER depressed. My wife freaks out if Im not high energy and upbeat around her. Its just the way Im hard wired. But it also makes it hard for me to relate to people who do get depressed. 2. Im somewhat fastidious in my personality. I cant stand dirty or cluttered rooms. My kids make fun of me because Im always cleaning. 3. When I was a kid in the 70s I collected comic books. LOTS of comic books. I still have every one of them bagged and boxed. 4. The first time I ever got drunk I was 36 years old. It was right after my wife passed away. The kids were 3 months old, 19 months old, 5 and 7 and I wasnt sure how things were going to work out. The shots helped that night! (Goldschlagger) 5. I love discussing theology/philosophy. I actually think the existence of God is a rational proposition. 6. My favorite thing to do is learn. Doesnt really matter what the topic is. I spend my days at work listening to books from The Teaching Company Modern Scholar or educational podcasts. If I could afford to go back to school, I would. 7. I dont watch much TV. In my limited free time I build computers or shoot zombies. 8. I dont tell great jokes, but I think I tell great jokes. Thats the worst kind of person to be around. 9. The math formula 12 x 5 = 60 is how I remember my birthday. 12/05/60. 10. Right out of college I packed my things and moved to Dallas, Tx. I didnt know anyone there but I joined the police department and learned how little I knew about life. 11. Boobs amaze/fascinate me. I dont know how women get anything done with those things right there. 12. Nathan Dudley is the most insightful person Ive ever met. If you ever have questions about God he is the go to guy. Eric Alexander would be the guy to have on your side in a bar fight or maybe just sit and have a drink with. David K. Carmichael was my roommate for a year in college where we had WAY too much fun. TonyandMary Evans are responsible for me having a kid at 50. Tammi Hackman is responsible for this list. I asked her out a couple of times in high school. Turned me down each time. I once climbed to the top of the fire tower on theoutside to impress Susan Robertson. Pam Schneider was the first girl I ever kissed. (8th grade) My wife Kristi Emmons adopted my kids, puts up with my quirks and turns 40 this year. Love you!
