1. Most modern day believers are overly influenced by the worlds desire for wealth and popularity. Gone are the days of self denial because we are in the new era of being seen, known, and judged for what you have instead of how you behave. Titus 2:7 In all things see that you are an example of good works; holy in your teaching, serious in behaviour 2. People are seeking popularity and wealth to cover deficits in their lives. Where there is selfish ambition, there is always dysfunction. A secure person doesnt seek to be noticed. James 3:16 For where jealousy and selfish ambition exist, there will be disorder and every vile practice. 3. Instead of working hard, waiting, and focusing on building character, people are rushing the process to gain money, fame, and recognition before they lay a solid foundation of morals and ethics.
