1 Peter 5:5 Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble. Some people wonder why am I so opposed to the contemporary movement, well let me tell you. The Bible teaches that the younger saints in the church are supposed to submit themselves unto the elder. The contemporary movement refused to hearken to the elder men of God and decided they by their own understanding and fleshly appeal could build a church with entertainment and self glorification rather than building on the Holy Word of God. They turned their backs on the teachings of those that walked the road of christianity long before they ever did and now call the Holy faith nothing more than Religion and do not believe they must obey the same scriptures that others had to do. They may believe they have succeeded seeing that their churches grow in number weekly, but watering down the message of salvation, and focusing more on worship,yet not teaching the entire Word of the one they claim to be worshiping, is nothing more but man deceiving his own heart. You may have the most dynamic worship music in town, but it wont profit you anything if there is still sin, rebellion against the scriptures, or a love for this present evil world. They may provide state of the art lighting and imaging, have professional musicians, and you may feel excitement during the worship service, but if the entire Word of God is not being preached and obeyed by the ministers and the followers it is not the real Spirit of God. God doesnt move through disobedience and fleshly pleasure, he moves through obedience to his Holy Word and self denial, true humility and faithfulness to God. Why is it that so many in the contemporary movement think that worship will sanctify you. So many drink strong drink, commit fornication, love the world and its evil ways, and yet they believe if they come in and worship all is well between them and God, but NOT SO! NOT SO! NOT SO! Repent, that is the answer. Turn to God with a willing heart and obedient Spirit. Seek to worship God with holiness and sanctification. Put your focus on walking in the Spirit and not fulfilling the lusts of the flesh. Read the Bible, but not just any revised Bible, but read the King James Version Holy Bible, it is not watered down to suffice the liking of men of today. The Holy Ghost has used the King James version Bible to lead his people for many years, and if you would only listen, the elders which went before would tell you the same. Truth is precious, dont delete it, but rather believe it!
