1 Peter 5:8, Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. Revelation 12:12, Therefore, rejoice, O heavens and you who dwell in them! But woe to you, O earth and sea, for the devil has come down to you in great wrath, because he knows that his time is short!” Christians, we need to keep our focus on The Lord and His purpose because the enemy knows his time is short. He is actively trying to get us off track to ruin our witnesses. He will bring people against us to accuse us, cause others to misunderstand us, try to pit Christians against each other and try to keep us as distracted as possible. The battle is raging in the spiritual realm but manifests in the physical. We have to keep our focus on Jesus but be aware of Satans schemes. If someone does come against us with false accusations or other ungodliness, we must remember that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood. Pray about the situation and pray for those who do such things. Pray that they would be released from the grasp of the devil and whatever strongholds he has built in their lives. We need not seek to avenge ourselves. Romans 12:19, Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God, for it is written, “Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord.”
