#1. Who did North Korea attack? Sony, a private company. Actually the subsidiary of Sony. Sony Pictures which is based in Burbank, CA. Although Sony is a Japanese Company. #2. Who did this attack injure or cause damage to, as in the loss of revenue? Sony Pictures, a subsidiary of Sony. A Japanese Company. And possibly the actors and people involved in this film. #3. Why is the United States of Americas military leaders and government in an uproar? Was a public entity attacked? No, it was Sony Pictures. A film company, part of the mainstream media. #4. Was the attack caught and stopped? Yes, obviously. And according to the news today they know that it was from the North Korean government, So, obviously not a huge threat. What happened actually? Did it really happen? #5. Why is the government, mainstream media and the POTUS calling for stronger legislation and laws to protect against cyber threats when obviously this so called major threat was caught and stopped by the protections that are already in place?
