1 die, 8 injured in road mishaps Farhan Qayoom, Sachnews Jammu Kashmir reporter: Srinagar, 22 June: One person died and eight others were injured in different road accidents across the valley. A Tata Sumo (JK05B-1826) hit a pedestrian Ghulam Mohammad Bhat resident of Stadium Colony Baramulla at Stadium Colony, resulting in his on spot death. Meanwhile, an unknown Maruti car hit a motorcycle (JK01G-7460) at Authoora Bazar, Kreeri, Baramulla, resulting in injuries to motorcyclist Nazir Ahmad Khan and his brother Bashir Ahmad Khan resident of Saloosa. Both the injured were shifted to Hospital for treatment. . In another accident, a Tavera ( JK14-2057) skidded off the road on NHW near Gulab Bagh, Qazigund, resulting in injuries to four passengers. All the injured have been shifted to Hospital for treatment. In another accident, a Motorcycle ( JK01U-0386) collided with a Scooty near old secretariat, Shaheed- Gunj Srinagar, resulting in injuries to Afreen Bilal. In another accident, an Auto load carrier (JK01K-7221) collided with a JCB near Padshahi Bridge in Nowgam Srinagar, resulting in injuries to Auto load carrier driver Bashir Ahmad Sopori resident of Zirpara Bijbehara, Anantnag.
