#1 question Ive been asked this week.....How do you stay so positive and upbeat? Truth is, I do have my bad days, BUT they are few and far between. I was miserable for so long and once I realized being happy takes a lot less effort, Ive done everything in my power to remain that way. Things that keep me in a good mood: 1. Daily exercise! I was on anxiety medication for two years and within two weeks of starting to exercise regularly I no longer needed the meds. Its ok to be selfish and focus on yourself each day. I promise it will improve all areas of your life. 2. Letting go! I used to be a complete worry wart. Ive had to learn to let things go. Its a struggle sometimes, but Im getting better :) 3. Deciding every morning when I wake up that its going to be a good day. 4. Getting dressed, fixing my hair and putting on makeup. Sure I love my sweats, but dressing cute makes me feel good. I dont do it to impress anyone, I just do it for me. 5. Good music! I always have the radio on when Im at home or in my car. Singing makes me happy!!! 6. Doing things to help other people out and expecting nothing in return. Theres really no better reward than knowing you did something to make someone elses day better.
