1 week ago today I had just finished racing 24hrs solo in Canberra. I also knew that the next day we had to get back home to Forrest and get underway a very busy week and pretty much non stop from that Monday onwards. So it was with a sigh of relief that the WEMBO World 24hr solo champs were over, not much time to soak up the joy, however I have promised myself a delayed celebration sometime when there is a short breather, sort of like those married couples that take their honeymoons some time after their wedding day. I am looking forward to that time! The week I have just lived has been pretty awesome. Great staff that just want to get onboard and see our businesses succeed, Norm and I are just in awe of their enthusiasm. Meeting with 2 schools as well for tours and skills from Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Thanks Forrest for finally pulling all the best weather out and totally drying up the trails! I even got to ride a few times this week and the legs are feeling sooo fresh and fired up, cant believe it. So as busy as I am, as much as I get a little flustered at times, remembering that somedays when I wake up this day is not designed for what I want, in the end it ends up being a really good one anyway!
