10 Reasons Why You Should Go see Noah! 1. It opens your mind to the what if it really happened that way and makes space for the sacred possibility. 2. It is a mirrored reflection of the day and time and culture in which we live today. 3. It portrays an amazing marriage in a positive light. 4. It raises the question that every man needs to be asking, What does it REALLY mean to be a man? 5. The scenes where the reptiles and animals converge around and into the ark is mesmerizing and astounding and marvelous. 6. I loved the creatures being called the Innocents and I know that St. Francis of Assisi is smiling and blessing this movie from above. 7. I recognized the tension of family dynamics which I, myself have experienced many, many times in raising sons and now with daughters in law. 8.I loved God being called, the Creator and felt like this affirmed one of Gods most fantastic feats which science dismisses and humans make excuses for in todays education and philosophical debates. 9. The movies theme of the ultimate overcoming of good over evil made me want to stand up on my chair and shout, Yes! 10. Its not about whether the movie is Biblical. Art gives us another question all together. Was I moved? Did I feel something in the wake of the experience of viewing it? The answer for me is yes, yes. It was not my favorite of all time movie mind you. I cant even say it was great. But it was truly good--one worth you going to and spending the money for and then having a coffee, pizza or kale salad and ask this one question: Did you see God in that movie?
