11 Random Facts About Me: 1. I have the weirdest celebrity crushes ever—Bob Saget and Dennis Kucinich immediately spring to mind as examples. 2. When people walk past me, I hold my breath so that I don’t accidentally get a whiff of them. I just don’t want to know what people smell like, good OR bad. (incidentally, a lot of people smell like Kleenex) 3. At some point in my life, I would really love to see a ghost. 4. I watch movies all the way to the end of the credits so that I can make fun of everyone’s names. 5. I have always thought that the coolest thing about getting married is getting to change your name—I don’t get why you’d want to keep your maiden name or god-forbid hyphenate! I guess I’m old-fashioned in some ways. 6. I am obsessed with apples and can taste the subtle differences between each variety. I can also identify most varieties by sight. 7. I’m really bad at remembering to take my anxiety medication. 8. I can’t look at pictures of or watch movies that feature horses, donkeys, mules, etc. if they are in black and white—it really freaks me out and kind of makes me nauseous. 9. Several years ago, I gave one of my exes a staph infection and he almost died. I still feel kind of bad about that. 10. I’ve been with my current employer for almost 6 years—the longest I’ve ever stayed at the same place, although I have held 3 different positions in that time. 11. I stopped watching the Office because I was mad at Jim & Pam for having a kid so soon. I think they should have waited longer (and not just until after the wedding!). I don’t know why it made me so mad! But it did, and I never watched it again after the wedding episode.
