This station which was opened on October 27th, 1904 was designed to be the showcase of the new Interborough Rapid Transit Company. Just love the architecture and overall look with natural lighting supplementing the light from the electric chandeliers . Now just a loop track for the number 6 train but at least tours of this station are occasionally given.
