12:30am Sunday - Groundhog Day. Will wait till afternoon for a new map but there is a bit of a shift north in snow output on models this late Sat night. Just as I suspected. This happens a lot with storms from the south and west. This is why even 2 days out its super risky making maps with inches on them. Basically Look at I-64 - from that line north and along I-79 too we have decent snow. At least a few inches. JUST south and I mean JUST south of 64, the air will be a touch too warm for accumulation. Its a knifes edge call and SOMEONE is gonna say: they got it wrong! But hey, we gotta draw the line somewhere. Right now Im comfortable with 2-4 inches (even more on tallest hills) along I-64 and points north. From there well draw the higher and lower spots and get that out to you in the afternoon before the Big Game starts. I wont be surprised if more Ohio counties get added in the mix for watches, etc too. Stay tuned and no matter what, get ready for a slow Monday morning drive with snow in the region.
