12 AM starts a new day even if it looks exactly the same as 11:59 PM to you. Sometimes a thing is over, has finished, and can not be legally spoken of in present tense. We must accept this. Midnight is actually the threshold of morning ... I hope we get it. At 12 AM you dont see the light of morning, but it is morning. It may look no different from 11:59 PM, BUT IT IS... (I wish I could explain this to yall, but I know the longer it is the less some will read)
