13 miles of a planned 15 miler, yesterday. To put it lightly, my body just gave out on me. More specifically, my knees. No quite ready for outside I guess, but im going to keep pressing. The first marathon I ran, during training I couldnt make this first 15 mile run. So, I know I just have to keep pressing. Will get a good cross training session in today, focusing on my lets. They just need to be stronger. I feel like the muscles around my knees just are not ready, so need to build that up. The knee pains wasnt like injury pain, but just tired pain, over worked. Not sure how to explain it. Bottom line, I feel like my legs need to be stronger.
