13 years?! 13 years since 9/11 and are we in a better place? Are we any safer than we were back then... No! Our President even believes that the US is in danger. Americans... I urge you to maintain situational awareness at all times. As a former Firefighter/EMT/Officer... I felt the personal pain of that day. I think about it often and there is no way I could ever forget the terror that it placed on my piece of mind! I am now working for the airline industry as a Flight Attendant... Once again I am in a position that makes me question my personal safety. I should never have to think twice about a terrorist taking my life when I go to work... However, thats exactly how I am feeling this morning on the anniversary of 9/11. To my fellow Firefighters, EMT, Officers and Flight Personnel... Please pay attention to every detail... Not only today, but always! Youre not just responsible for your own life, but also for the lives of those you protect every day!!!
