13 years ago...today marks the 13th anniversary of the day the lives of all Americans were changed forever. Thousands of men, women and children fell victim to an evil unlike any we had ever seen before. In the blink of an eye, millions upon millions of people all over the world were confused, scared, in disbelief and in awe from the images being broadcast over their televisions. Its so easy to forget. Weve been at war with terrorism for so long its easy to become war weary. There has been thousands of men and women since 9/11/2001 that have selflessly given their lives not only for the war against terror, but also to honor and avenge the innocent that were taken from us. Let us not forget the victims of 9/11, let us not forget the men and women that fearlessly entered the Twin Towers and gave their lives to save the lives of others. Let us not forget the brave soldiers that have fought and lost their lives for this cause and let us remember this...for as long as terrorism and an evil of this magnitude exists, we will always be at war, because we are America. We are a good and just nation that will always fight for life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness...not only for our citizens, but for men, women and children world-wide.
