Water supply line was damaged near Nagabal chowk this evening.The residents expressed fear and said that the officials of the Public Health Engineering (PHE) department were aware about the leakage in one of the joints of the water pipe but they didn’t repair it in time and finally the pipe damaged on Monday evening. The damaging of 48-inch main pipe line of Rangeel Water Supply Scheme affected the supplies to the areas including Bemina, Malroo, HMT, Parimpora, Qamerwari, Noorbagh, Nowhatta, Khanyar, Zaindar Mohallah, Karan Nagar, Balgarden and Batmaloo.
