130 BREACHES EQUALLING 2,835,534 EXPOSURES! The Identity Theft Resource Center (idtheftcenter.org/) has issued their latest report for institutional breaches in 2014. According to their report there have been 2,835,534 exposures from 130 institutional breaches and we are not even finished with March yet! This is alarming as these breaches expose more than just credit card numbers.
