134 Spore - I am in agony. My comfortable shoes have failed me. Why? They were comfortable for the small amount of walking I did in Beverly but no match for the 15 miles or so Im doing every day here. And I do enjoy walking. How did I let myself get in such bad shape - PLAYSTATION, PLAYSTATION 2, PLAYSTATION 3 and PLAYSTATION 4. I would pay $300 for a pair of comfortable leather sandals with heel and foot strap. I have been walking all morning in search of same and ended up at the one sure place - the Giant Stores Hypermart in Sun Tec City and the best they can come up with are size 10 plastic sandals - 4 inches too short. I have a blood blister on the side of the the ball of each foot and a broken blister on each heel. Ive got to sort out this problem, even if I somehow find a custom sandal maker. And my boat shoes are even less comfortable so one of these pair will be left behind, along with my trusty Gateway laptop. Once youve traveled with 6 hours of battery life, youll never go back to one. So Im in Sun Tec City at a Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf, waiting for Shabu Sai to open at 11:30. All you can eat Shabu Shabu for $15! Then, Ill cab it back to the hostel and rethink my sandals acquisition plan. I just cant walk anymore for a couple of hours!
