14 boys 3 won 41-40 against Casey 4 who are top of our division. Simply put wow !, what an awesome performance, with jack mcdonald scoring the buzzer beater to finish a fantastic team performance. They played a consistent 40 minutes of ball, with contributions from everyone of the 9 players. To get from 7 points down midway through last quarter and get it back to a point with the last play of the game, marley got a shot away which was drifting wide, jack followed it from the sideline corner to grab the ball just past the ring, and get a shot away which kissed the glass and dropped. This brought all the players onto the court to celebrate, including the coach ! Hey, we have had a difficult few weeks, and at times struggled, to see the hard work pay off tonight... SENSATIONAL ! So proud of this group tonight, take a bow Tom Bahen, Jack McDonald, Marley Thompson, Ben Hames, Noah Hunt, Elijah Hopkins, Taj Whelan, Dylyn Blackledge and Dylan Bromley..... you played for each other tonight and really proved that team comes first ! Lets take this forward next week and hopefully Lachlan Sharp is available and can be a part of another superb performance #madeofsteel
