14 months of hell, uncertainty, and down right anger was justified today when our tiny little old man judge said, Its my privilege to say that the court rules that adoption is in the best interest of Eleanor Elizabeth Renee Keener. Congratulations! Youre a forever family! Adoption is beautiful. Even during the ugliest of situations, which ours certainly was, the Lord was weaving our story into something beautiful. We were a forever family, even before Eleanor was born. I knew she was mine the first time I saw her tiny little profile on that ultrasound machine, when I saw her tiny little heart beating in her tiny little chest. Oh, you are greatly loved, my precious Bit. By your first family. By your forever family. By people youve never had the privilege of meeting. But how much greater does your Jesus love you!! Since I love you to Pluto and back (because the moon is just too close), His love for you is literally immeasurable. Today wouldnt be possible without my Mother in Love, Jackie Keener. She has given to us sacrificially. We love you, so much!! To the rest of you, and you know who you are, you rock my socks. Thank you for sharing and talking about our story. So heres to Eleanor!
