15 plus 1 month before total 16 months in Arizona. This Yellow line is the Best of Arizona, there are other places but to far to travel. If you want higher Canada like area, you need to head toward Apache national Forest around Big Lake Area. Many Lakes, miles of grassland and mountains like back east but 8000-10000 ft high in the sky and amazing drive up there to scary as heck highways. But many Fresh water springs, Elk, and Turkey, and deer everywhere with Mexican Wolves. You can live here forever for free and no one is barely up there. The second place is Mt. Graham a great hideaway but many bears to deal with. Chirchua is the strangest place to me in America. No water, so bring it. No showers there either. The Mongolla Rim is amazing view and free camping right on the edge, that drops straight down. can see most of Arizona from up there. The trail on the rim from Prescott to Sedon is an easy trail to walk north and is the most view of Arizona. Hike atleast 2 miles in. Trail is Flat, but high up there. Locket Meadow burned, but that base camp is cool for climb up Mt. Humperys. Very beautiful place. Mt. Lemmon and Mt. Graham is a bicycle paradise ride down if you got bikes on the back of car. Summer in Mountains, and Winter in Desert. Tuscon Desert area is cool, and many great parks in Phoenix. Yuma BML and Quartz BML is like 90 dollars for 7 months, but not really that great. just a place to live almost free. But Apachee national Forest all summer after snow melt is the best survival place with many many miles of dirt roads to nowhere.
