15 years ago, a tragic accident occurred as the Aggie Bonfire was being prepared. 12 people lost their lives. One of these young men was a former student, the son of a Professor from UT for whom I was privileged to meet and worked on a PhD Dissertation Project that he co-sponsored. Many moons have passed, and while there is no more rivalry game to fight over, let us be reminded of the bonds that exist between the schools. I have High School classmates from MAC that went to A&M, and more of us went to UT.
