17-21 July 14 Bangalore-Salem-malumichampatty-pollachi-aliyar-valparai- Great all through valparai-athirapilly - scenic and great tarmac , except 3 kms of little potholes. athirapilly (is at is best)must visit-chalakudi-angamaly- Great stretch Angamaly-perumbavoor-muvattupuzha-Good roads muvattupuzha-thodupuzha-muttom-Vagamon-ellapara-vandiperiyar-thekkady-- (this is not the usual route , Most go through idukki), But this one is really beautiful.Completely raining and mist alll through. Cultural programme at Thekkady kalaripayattu and kathakali thekkady-vandiperiyar-gavi-- Great roads. Hats off to kerala guys for the amazing maintainance. thekkady-kumily-Cumbum-chinnamanur-theni-vatalgundu-potholes while crossing the mentioned towns and slows u down if there is a local bus ahead of u, out of town its a 2 lane, with fresh tar.easily 120 + dindigul-karur-salem-blr-- can easily do 150 + all through , But extreme winds past dindigul Do have the dindigul biryani if at lunch time :-)
