17 years ago today, My life changed in ways I could have never perceived. On that day: I didnt believe I could go on, I wanted to give up, I felt lost and like nothing would ever be right again. Most of all, I lost the woman I looked up to all my life, the woman that taught me almost everything I knew, the woman that gave me the confidence and courage to go after what I want, the woman whom had always been there when I needed someone, my best friend, my Mother. If you knew her you would agree, I was not the only person to feel this way about her, she was a bright spot in everyones life she touched. She was amazing in so many ways, her creativity knew no bounds, her love could not be contained, she helped others without asking or expecting anything in return. Her beauty was not only on the surface, but deep within her soul as well. She was always putting others before herself, myself and my brother, Michael Ponder know this better than most by the way she did so much for both of us! I dont post this in hope of sympathy or to make anyone sad, I want to share how great she was and to make sure her memory is alive!
