1980s New York, widely derided for high crime, trash in the streets, rudeness as a way of life, and over all depravity, take a look. I lived in THE BRONX in those days and loved it. A bit of common sense kept me and most people safe....except those unfortunate enough to be confined to BEING UNINFORMED in the worst neighborhoods. What I would give for a visit to Times Square before they tore it down and made it into Times Square. If you missed that era, going back to way before the 90s, you never saw New York City -- including Coney Island. Read this and weep.
