IS THE CHRISTIAN TRINITY.. CHRISTIAN (FROM CHRIST)? O People of the Scripture, do not commit excess in your religion or say about Allah except the truth. The Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, was but a messenger of Allah and His word which He directed to Mary and a soul [created at a command] from Him. So believe in Allah and His messengers. And do not say, Three; desist - it is better for you. Indeed, Allah is but one God. Exalted is He above having a son. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. And sufficient is Allah as Disposer of affairs. [Quran 4:171] They have certainly disbelieved who say, Allah is the third of three. And there is no god except one God. And if they do not desist from what they are saying, there will surely afflict the disbelievers among them a painful punishment. [Quran 5:73] Many religions before had trinitarian godheads such as Hinduism, Roman paganism and even the Greek gods had 3 primary gods over others... The greek and roman gods may be more relevant due to the merger between European paganism and Christianity after Constantine adopted it as the state religion. Also noteworthy of the timing of all the councils such as Niceae and others after it in the late 300s to 500s and the fact that the earliest available source for many Biblical teachings is Greek (which was not the language of Isa and his Sahabah)... Reflect on who was born in the late 500s and the history of the prophetic missions to revive and rekindled Allahs message when in approximately 610 Jibreel brought the first verses of the Quran to Rasulullah (s) and stories like Salman al-Farsi who went to Medinah to await the coming prophet when no more priests were upon the truth of Isa anymore (in this post Constantine Christianity - which is for all practical purposes modern Christianity)
