1991 Mitsubishi 3000gt vr4 twin turbo 5 speed. In the past year the car has had a new transfer case put in that was resealed under recall I also have to go with the car another transfer case that has 4000 miles on it that has been resealed also the transfer case on the car right now has 20,000 miles on it The engine is as follows 1999 bottom end and internals. Forged crank with four bolt main caps. Clivet bearings put in at time of swap. Verification off second generation bottom end can be explained in person. 1st generation heads that have been machined before new OEM head gaskets with ARP head studs were used to put the engine together it utilizes the CAS system but the wiring is still there for the crank angle sensor and cam angle sensor although they are not needed with 1st generation heads. Big bore lifters have been put in. The body of the car has one hundred and twenty thousand on it The donor bottom end had 80,000 miles on it and the first generation heads are from the original car The timing belt the hydraulic tensioner the water pump etc etc. Have been done just months ago. The power steering has been unhooked the belt is no longer there power steering does not work on this car but Ive driven it like this for a year now There is a front mount intercooler setup with a blitz blow off valve running recerc. The stock 9b turbos have been mildly ported and rebuilt over the winter and balanced and reinstalled they boost good and healthy. The transmission on this car is decent on a cold morning you have to let it warm up or second gear will not like it very much I use all red line full synthetic fluids in the driveline of this car the transfer cases both get redline heavy duty shockproof the one not installed in the car get a pre measured container sent with it to the new owner other than allowing it to warm up on a cold day the transmission is fine no wine or pop out the transfer case drive smoothly and makes no noises either There is an aftermarket fuel pressure regulator on the car which is a mole SEC racing brand it also comes with the stock fuel pressure regulator and line. A popular modification and some people believe necessary modification is the fuel pump hot wire that has also been done according to the diagram on 3Si. There is an intank Walbro 355 fuel pump. There is a set of 4 XXR wheels 18 inch. The stock boost water temperature and oil psi gauges tend to get tired over time and they become not as accurate so I purchased GlowShift gauges to put in place of them to take out the gauges from the stock position you have to basically remove the entire dashboard I have never had the ambition or time or place to do this yet so I purchased a Mitsubishi Eclipse a-pillar 3 gauge pod holder which I have put there in the meantime the boost gauge functions the water temperature gauge functions with its own sending unit in line and the oil pressure gauge works using the stock oil pressure sending unit. The interior is not horrible but it is not the greatest it could definitely use one good detail and here and there interior pieces her missing. The common e-brake cables breaking happened to this car we repaired it the most common way by using washers and bolts. It has an HKS dc2 dual exhaust system which is 3 inch. The car boosts to 18 psi right now. There is a voodoo manual boost controller in the glove box that can be turned up or down inside the cabin. The car will come with 2 extra PTU igniters an an extra set of coils As the car sets it does need various things to start it will need to have the clutch put in I Drive it now daily as it is but as soon as the car boosts over 10 pounds of boost you can feel the clutch slipping a new clutch which is a racing stage 2 clutch will be coming with the car also the windshield has a crack in it so the windshield will need to be replaced again I Drive the car this way Also one thing the car does have that I would call a blemish would be the rear passenger quarter panel and bumper area the car was slightly backed into and repaired and the paint used did not completely match the paint on the car I intended to plasti dip my car this summer or let it go the way it is and sometime in the future have the car completely resprayed I dont really think its horrible but someone else might look at it worse than me also the front bumper on the driver side has a little bit of a rash so to speak. If you have any other questions about the car feel free to ask I am entertaining all offers although I should just tell you now that I am passionate about this platform and if you do know this platform you will know that I have started in the right places the engine work alone and the transfer case with 4000 miles on it are worth thousands all the right modifications to start building this car up have been made I know what it is worth so if you are going to offer a very low amount of money or a trade for something that is junk please dont even bother.
