19th November 1828 Franz Schubert Franz Peter Schubert was born on the 31st January 1797 and died on the 19th November 1828. He was an Austrian composer and became a renowned composer of the late Classical and early Romantic eras after his death. Although he died at the young age, he managed to achieve more than six-hundred compositions, seven symphonies together with sacred music, operas, chamber music and piano music.
