2 Timothy 2:3-4 Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier. A soldier is trained to keep pressing forward when in battle. We are in a battle, good versus evil. Our adversary is satan. We must realize satan is the most sneaky and conniving beast. He doesnt attack when we are strong, he waits till we are weak. We must keep our guard up and be alert knowing he will attack. Too often we get our focus off of the battle and onto things of the world. Stay focused. This is how satan finds openings to attack. Our warfare is spiritual not physical. Dont let the attack catch you off guard. Satan lets us see pretty things but he never shows the end result, eternal life in the lake of fire if we let him destroy us. I have good, good news: IF GOD BE FOR US, WHO CAN BE AGAINST US? We have to fight this fight of faith and maintain the course CHRIST has laid out for us.
